The Best of Dean Alston

Dean Alston has been The West Australian’s cartoonist since 1986, known for his humorous, sardonic, and sometimes controversial political cartoons. I was tasked to create and execute the visual identity for various digital articles on Dean, featuring cartoons from his near 40 year career, guided by the editorial team. Meeting with Dean allowed me to capture the personality and tone of his cartoons in the visual executions.
