Todd Pascoe is an experienced graphic designer who has been working in the industry for 13 years. He has an extensive background in visual communication and graphic design.
After graduating Curtin University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts (Design), Todd was picked up by a local design start-up before being hired by Western Australian fashion label Morrison as their in-house designer. At Morrison, Todd honed his skills in the unpredictable nature of the Australian retail industry,
7 years later, Todd made the move to Seven West Media, Australia's largest diversified media business, with an extensive presence in broadcast television, radio, print and online publishing. Seven West Media owns the Western Australian branch of the Seven Network, as well as The West Australian newspaper, where Todd would work in the digital native sponsored content team—MINT, as their sole designer.
The role allowed Todd to work with a multitude of high-profile businesses, diversifying his portfolio and learning from various experts in the media landscape. In 2023 Todd was awarded a Moments That Move Us award for exceptional work, as well as having work shortlisted in the global Native Advertising Awards.
Todd has in-depth proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as online software Shorthand and Squarespace, He can code with HTML/CSS at an intermediate level.
Outside of design, Todd is known to be obsessed with pop music, which he’ll happily talk to you about. If he wasn’t a graphic designer, he’d pursue a career in music journalism—his design career started at 11 years old on Photoshop—redesigning his favourite album covers.
He is an active advocate for causes near to his heart, namely the LGBTQIA+ community. He enjoys staying active and healthy outside of work.
Todd works by the motto that design should always be ‘human focused’ rather than ‘demographic focused’. Meaning visual work should be designed with a focus on the individual human it’s speaking to—we as humans are not a monolith, and graphic design should reflect that.
